Garage Floor Epoxy Wollongong
Professional two-part epoxy coatings for residential and commercial garages across the Illawarra. Diamond ground, built to last.
Why Epoxy
The Last Floor Your Garage Will Ever Need
A bare concrete garage floor is porous, dusty and stains permanently. A painted floor looks good for a year then peels. A professionally installed epoxy coating is neither — it bonds to the concrete at a chemical level and creates a hard, seamless surface that handles everything a working garage demands.
We install two-part industrial epoxy systems across Wollongong and the Illawarra — the same product used in commercial warehouses and industrial facilities. Not the single-part water-based stuff you find at Bunnings.
Every job starts with diamond grinding. This creates a mechanically profiled surface the epoxy bonds to permanently. Without it, any coating — cheap or expensive — will eventually delaminate. It’s the step most competitors skip on cheap quotes. We never do.
The preparation is everything
If a quote doesn’t specifically mention diamond grinding, ask about it. Acid etching alone is not sufficient preparation for a lasting epoxy floor — it’s a shortcut that leads to peeling within a few years.

What You Get
Why Epoxy for Garages

Designed for vehicle weight, tyre rubber, oil drips and everything a working garage throws at it.
Hides Dust & Marks
Flake finishes in particular conceal light dust and minor marks between cleans — great for working garages.

Most garages completed in a single day. Cars back on the floor within 48–72 hours.
Lasts 10–20 Years
With proper diamond grinding prep, professionally installed epoxy outlasts any painted or DIY alternative by a decade.
Options
Garage Floor Finishes
Three finish systems — we’ll recommend the best option for your specific garage when we come out to quote.
Flake System
Decorative vinyl flakes broadcast into the wet epoxy base coat, sealed with a clear topcoat. The most popular choice for residential garages — dozens of colour combinations, excellent at hiding dust and light marks between cleans.
Solid Colour
Clean, uniform colour across the whole floor. Suits workshops, commercial garages and spaces where a sharp, minimal look is the priority. Available in a wide range of colours.
Quartz / Anti-Slip
Quartz aggregate broadcast into the surface creates maximum grip and a textured finish. Best for high-traffic areas, commercial garages and floors that regularly get wet.
How It Works
The Installation Process
Free On-Site Quote
Gary comes to your garage, assesses the concrete condition, discusses finish options and gives you a fixed price on the spot. No call centres, no ballpark figures over the phone.
Diamond Grinding
We grind the entire surface with industrial diamond tooling to create a mechanically profiled concrete surface. Existing coatings, contamination and surface defects are removed. This is the step that makes the difference.
Crack & Defect Repair
Any cracks, chips or low spots in the slab are filled and levelled before coating begins. We don't coat over problems — we fix them.
Epoxy Application
Two-part industrial epoxy primer coat, followed by the broadcast layer (for flake systems) or colour coat, then a clear polyurethane or polyaspartic topcoat for durability and sheen.
Back in Business
Light foot traffic within 24 hours. Car back in the garage within 48–72 hours. Full cure in 7 days.
